Position Title: Carbide General Machinist

Wage: $16 - $18/hour depending on experience

Shift: 1st

Hours: 6:30am to 3pm

We are seeking a motivated and reliable Carbide General Machinist for an entry-level position in our client's Carbide Header Die Division. This is a Temp-to-Hire opportunity with significant potential for career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist Carbide Header Die Makers in honing, polishing, and finishing carbide parts.

· Perform rough grinding and semi-finishing of carbide components.

· Read and interpret basic blueprints and use gages/measurement tools to ensure accuracy.

· Support shop operations and maintain high standards of quality control.

· Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized work environment.

Qualifications:

· Previous shop experience is a plus, but not required.

· Ability to read and understand simple blueprints.

· Familiarity with gage/measurement tools.

· Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

· Motivated and eager to learn, with the potential for growth in the company.
