Sign Maker/Installer

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Sign Maker/Installer to join our client's team. This role involves creating high-quality signage and ensuring precise installation across various locations.

Responsibilities

• Fabricate signs according to detailed design specifications using appropriate tools and materials

• Operate equipment such as cutting machines, printers, and hand tools with safety and precision

• Measure and prepare surfaces for sign installation, ensuring proper alignment and adherence

• Install signs on various surfaces including walls, poles, and buildings, following safety protocols

• Use testing devices such as ohmmeters to verify electrical components of illuminated signs

• Conduct quality checks post-installation to ensure durability and visual accuracy

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety standards at all times

• Collaborate with clients, designers, and project managers to meet project deadlines

• Troubleshoot installation issues promptly to minimize delays or rework

• Document completed work with photographs and detailed reports for client records

Qualifications

• Proven experience in sign fabrication and installation or related trades

• Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and sign-making equipment

• Familiarity with electrical components of illuminated signage

• Strong attention to detail with excellent measurement and alignment skills

• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, and design layouts accurately

• Physical stamina for lifting heavy materials and working at heights or in confined spaces

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record is advantageous

• Commitment to safety procedures and quality standards in all tasks

$15 - $20/hr.
