SCOPE : This position shall work in cooperation with other staff members and volunteers to help formulate and carry out policies and procedures related to its mission.

RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Administration: Assist the CEO with program agendas, various committee meetings, dog park property improvements, maintenance, and management.

  • Works with the CEO to evaluate program progress and make necessary recommendations while performing other duties as may be assigned to him or her from time to time.

  • Attending and recording committee meetings as appropriate. With the assistance and direction of the CEO, shall be responsible for the administration of the annual program of action.

  • Assist in organizing and maintaining direct mailings for organization: donations, correspondence with members

  • Coordinate fundraising efforts toward foundations and other sources.

  • Publications: Update publications, ads, and press releases when appropriate.

  • Program Development & Supervision: Volunteer recruitment and training for various

  • programs.

Background Required:

Experience in administration – 3 years or more.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Strong organizational skills

  • Appropriate word processing database, and bookkeeping skills to support the responsibilities of the position. Ideal candidates will have knowledge of Outlook, Word, Excel, QuickBooks, Salesforce and Donor Perfect.

  • Good verbal and written communication skills

  • MUST BE COMFORTABLE WORKING AROUND ANIMALS (IN OFFICE)

$20/hr.
