We’re looking for a Municipal Clerk to join our client’s team.
Pay/Compensation/Details:

$28/hour.
Requirements and Responsibilities:

Performs general/clerical tasks, which may include answering telephone calls, typing, scanning, copying, sending/receiving emails, filing and processing incoming/outgoing mail.

Receives and processes building permit applications and related documentation and completes permit checklists and log sheets.

Verifies current licensure and insurance of applicants and contractors; processes change of contractor forms and verifies that signing contractor is an authorized agent.

Records and files inspection requests and inspection reports.

Assists residents with scheduling inspections.

Scans documents and plans and enters permit data into computer system; tracks, prints and distributes permits.

Performs customer service functions for customers including information and assistance related to permits, permit applications, inspections, records research, documentation, procedures, fees, or other issues and responds to routine questions, complaints, or requests for service.

Calculates all required fees and assists with the processing of payments.
