Boat Driver

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Boat Driver / Engine Tester to assist with a short-term marine project based in Grant, FL. This position involves operating boats for engine testing, data collection, and performance evaluations in a safe and efficient manner.

Responsibilities:

• Operate boats for scheduled engine testing and trials

• Assist technicians with setup and monitoring of testing equipment

• Ensure vessel and equipment safety during testing

• Log performance data and report observations

• Maintain cleanliness and readiness of test vessels

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating powerboats

• Knowledge of marine safety procedures and navigation

• Ability to work independently and follow precise instructions

• Physically able to work on and around boats for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications:

• Captain’s License (e.g., USCG OUPV or higher)

• TWIC Card

Schedule:

• 30 to 40 hours per week

• Project duration: approximately 1 to 2 months

Compensation:

• $26 per hour
