Manpower is recruiting for a project coordinator position for a home services client in Fort Pierce, FL. This role entails coordinating project schedules and communication between customers, field teams, office staff, managers, and engineers, while also managing all necessary paperwork. The Project Coordinator reports directly to the Director of Operations.

 

Responsibilities:

The Project Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring seamless project management from customer approval to project completion. Core responsibilities include:

• Assist the Director of Operations with daily tasks to ensure construction operations run smoothly.

• Schedule and coordinate all tasks and stages of each job (Concrete, Measure, Install, Punch-out, and Walk-through).

• Manage all communication for scheduling, ensuring a smooth flow of information between teams.

• Prepare and organize all required packages for each project:

o Concrete Packages

o Permit Packages

o Install Packages (including full job folder)

• Collaborate with the Field Supervisor and all crews to ensure each job is completed efficiently.

• Maintain strong relationships and communicate effectively with other contractors and supervisors to ensure job sites are prepared.

• Monitor scheduling on Buildertrend and inform supervisors of any issues requiring attention.

• Maintain written and computer-generated logs and update client information.

• Perform various office tasks to assist in the overall operations of the construction department.

• Take initiative to plan work schedules and think ahead to address potential issues.

Qualifications:

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, Buildertrend, and other project management tools (experience with additional software, like AutoCAD, is a plus).

• Ability to effectively understand and interpret architectural drawings and identify relevant features within the project scope.

• Demonstrated sound judgment in resolving complex issues.

• Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple schedules and complete priorities simultaneously.

• Effective communication skills, both written and oral, to influence others and resolve challenges.

• Four years of relevant experience and/or equivalent education and training.

• Strong Microsoft Office, Adobe Acrobat, and related computer skills.

Skills / Knowledge:

• Ability to multi-task and keep several schedules moving concurrently.

• Ability to respond effectively to inquiries or complaints from customers, regulatory agencies, or other stakeholders.

• Ability to present information clearly and confidently to management.

• Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.

• Must have excellent handwriting for customer correspondence.
