Welder

We are seeking a skilled Tig Welder to join our client's team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in welding and fabrication, with the ability to work with various materials including sheet metal and ductwork. This role requires precision and attention to detail, as well as the ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Duties

Perform TIG welding on various materials, ensuring high-quality welds that meet industry standards.

Utilize machining techniques to fabricate components as needed.

Operate equipment such as forklifts and calipers for material handling and measurement.

Conduct inspections of welded components for defects or inconsistencies.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and safely.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Assist in soldering tasks when required, demonstrating versatility in welding techniques.

Requirements

Proven experience in TIG welding; certification is a plus.

Familiarity with FCAW (Flux-Cored Arc Welding) is desirable.

Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of welding principles.

Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.

Experience working with sheet metal and ductwork is preferred.

Ability to operate forklifts safely; certification may be required.

Excellent attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.

Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.

$25 - $30/hr.
