We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our client's team as an Medical Customer Service Specialist. As an Medical Customer Service Specialist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support and ensuring efficient patient intake processes.

 

Duties:

  • Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience

  • Collect and verify patient information, including personal details and medical history

  • Schedule appointments and coordinate with medical staff to ensure smooth patient flow

  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries regarding appointments, services, and general information

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in electronic systems

  • Assist with insurance verification and obtain necessary authorizations

  • Process payments and provide receipts to patients

  • Collaborate with other administrative staff to ensure efficient office operations

 

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in medical scheduling, patient service, or office administration preferred

  • Knowledge of medical receptionist duties and medical administrative support tasks

  • Familiarity with office systems such as electronic health records (EHR) or practice management software

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

  • Proficient in using computer systems and basic software applications

  • Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
