Overnight Maintenance Mechanic

Manpower is hiring a overnight Maintenance Mechanic for a client in the Fort Pierce are.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Inspect, repair and maintain equipment throughout the facility.

• Troubleshoot and replace machinery as necessary (repetitive maintenance).

• Read and understand operating manuals, blueprints and drawings.

• Design, fabricate and install equipment as required.

• Maintain accurate records of work completed.

• Get quotes and order repair parts from outside vendors.

• Monitor equipment while in operation, making adjustments as necessary (wastewater activities, refrigeration system, boiler) and maintain chemicals.

• Knowledge of USDA, HACCP and FDA rules an regulations are preferred.

Qualification Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience on manufacturing equipment.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Able to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude.

• Punctual, dependable and reliable.

Physical Demands:

While performing duties of job, incumbent is occasionally required to stand for full shift; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lb. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Work Environment:

Non-A/C work area, the noise level is usually moderate.

Hours are from 5:00pm - 5:00am, Monday - Friday. Weekends when needed.

$17 - 22.00/hr or DOE + Benefits.

A background check and drug test is required.
