Duties

Oversee all aspects of the company's financial operations and ensure compliance with accounting principles and regulations

Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and internal controls

Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, reports, and budgets

Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support strategic decision-making
-
Manage the general ledger and ensure accurate recording of transactions
-
Perform account analysis and reconciliation to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial data
-
Monitor cash flow, manage banking relationships, and oversee treasury functions
-
Coordinate the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors
-
Stay updated on accounting standards, regulations, and industry trends
Qualifications
-
Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA designation preferred
-
MUST have been a Controller at a Construction company.
-
HIGH Priority if you've worked at a pool construction company.

Proven experience as a Controller or similar role in a corporate setting
-
Strong knowledge of technical accounting principles, including IFRS and double-entry bookkeeping
-
Proficiency in budgeting, general ledger accounting, account analysis, and general ledger reconciliation
-
Solid understanding of financial concepts such as debits, credits, and financial statements
-
Experience with QuickBooks or other accounting software systems
-
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data
-
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting

Ability to effectively communicate financial information to non-financial stakeholders
