Header Brazer
Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill a Header Brazer position with a manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. The client specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.
Pay Rate: $19–$23 per hour
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2nd Shift: 1:30 PM – 10:30 PM (mandatory overtime as needed)

Header Brazer Responsibilities

Perform production brazing of headers to copper or aluminum tubing assemblies for heat exchanger coils.

Braze multiple tube-to-header joints using torch brazing techniques (air/acetylene, oxy-acetylene, or similar).

Follow work instructions, blueprints, and brazing specifications to ensure proper joint integrity.

Maintain consistent heat control to produce leak-free, high-quality brazed joints.

Inspect brazed joints for defects and support quality and pressure testing as required.

Work efficiently in a high-volume manufacturing environment to meet daily production goals.

Use fixtures, jigs, and tools to properly align tubing and headers.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.

Collaborate with production and quality teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
Requirements

Minimum 2–3 years of brazing experience, preferably in coil, HVAC, or heat exchanger manufacturing.

Experience brazing copper-to-copper, copper-to-brass, or aluminum components.

Ability to pass a hands-on brazing test.

Ability to read and follow work instructions and basic blueprints.

Must be able to read a tape measure.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.

Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented production environment.

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
