Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to find an experienced and skilled HVAC Technician who will not only join our clients team in equipment maintenance, but will also play a large role in the training process for contractors.
Our client specializes in Air conditioning, Furnaces, Heat pumps and Mini-splits.
Pay: $37.00 - $43.00 per hour to start, depending on experience.
Role and Responsibilities

Provide effective commercial and residential equipment technical support.

Respond to calls, and occasional site visits to assist customers with a variety of issues.

Equipment may vary from VRF, to commercial split and packaged systems and standard unitary split A/C’s and Heat Pumps.

Current equipment manufacturers are Daikin & Ruud Manufacturing.

Open to being training to aid and facilitate factory training for current & prospective customers. You will work alongside senior technical staff to develop skills and learn how field calls and train contractors.

Have understanding of low voltage electrical characteristics & diagnostics.

Be able to calmly and efficiently work through varying levels of equipment malfunctions/irregularities.

Effectively explain/train contractors using manufacturer/distributor curriculum.

Have a propensity for continued education, both on-site and ability to travel to manufacturer facilities.

General troubleshooting ability

Maintain a positive attitude & have ability to de-escalate problematic situations with contractors in the field
Qualifications and Education Requirements

This position is open to varying levels of experience.

Compensation and benefits will vary depending on past experience in the HVAC field, ability to train, experience with varying brands/styles of equipment, and overall general knowledge in technical service.
