Entry Level Mechanical Maintenance Technician - day shift 5:00 -3:30
REQUIREMENTS:

Maintenance Technician have 2 years prior experience in building facility maintenance and light mechanical.

Must be safety trained and capable to operate forklift functions

6 panel including THC drug screen

Must have excellent people skills and able to work well with a variety of personalities.

Must work efficiently so that all issues can be satisfied in a timely manner.

Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks at a time and work well under pressure.
Principle responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but are not limited to the following:

Demonstrates good judgment in investigating problems and making decisions. Respects and maintains the confidentiality of company, customer, and personnel information.

Inspects buildings and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions and needed repair making notes and recommendations using a pre-established check sheet.

Maintains cooperative working relationships with supervisors and other staff members in all departments.

Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures (e.g. wall switches and outlets, incandescent and fluorescent bulbs and tubes, ballast, sockets, fuses, minor appliances, cords, etc.) using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.

Performs minor plumbing maintenance (e.g. replacement or repair of leaks in drains and faucets, unclogging of drains, trenching and laying new lines, replacing drain hoses on washers and similar devices, etc.).

Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work (e.g. preparing surfaces and using brush, sprayer, or roller to apply paints, stains, and varnishes, hanging doors, fitting locks and handles, etc.).

Empties garbage containers on regular basis

Cleans sandblaster

Checks fluids on lubrication equipment, batteries and cleaning solvents

Monitors and advises Operations Manager on need of major equipment repairs

Ensures that all government and company requirements relating to safety, health, and environment are strictly adhered to, including OSHA requirements.

Performs any other duties as may be required by the Maintenance supervisor including other duties as assigned.
Compensation:
Hourly pay: $24-$25
