Pallet/Crate Assembler

 Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Pallet/Crate Assembler position with a packaging manufacturer located in Tualatin, OR. This position is full-time with current openings on day and swing shift! The person in this position will produce crates and pallets to shipping requirements and customer specifications.

PAY: $19-$21/hr

Pallet/Crate Assembler Responsibilities:

• Determine job requirements on crates to be produced.

• Operate hand and power tools.

• Operate measuring tools.

• Locate and pull materials required to complete job.

• Produce the product from the Bill of Materials (BOM), which accompanies the blueprint and describes the production procedure.

• Notify supervisor of any material or mechanical issues.

• Maintain a clean and safe work area.

Pallet/Crate Assembler Requirements:

• Ability to work individually and as a team member.

• Ability to use a variety of tools, staple/nail guns, glue rollers, power screw driver, drill press, chop saw, band saw, tape measure.

• Ability to read and follow directions.

• Mechanical aptitude to operate machines is a plus.

• Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds.

• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen (employer is THC friendly).

Pallet/Crate Assembler Benefits & Schedule:

• $19-$21/hr

• Must be able to work Monday through Friday day shift 7AM-3:30PM with overtime schedules of 5AM-3:30PM and occasional Saturday hours OR swing shift: 3:30PM-12:00AM with overtime schedules of 3:30PM-2AM and occasional Saturday shift hours (1:30PM-10PM).
