MIG Fluxcore Welder

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is seeking a fluxcore MIG Welder for a role with steel and metal shop in the Northeast, Portland area.

In this role you should be comfortable working independently and with a variety of metals including but not limited to stainless steel, steel and aluminum,

Pay: $24.00-$26.00HR

Shift: Monday-Friday

3:00pm-11:30pm

Welder Responsibilities:

• Utilize fluxcore MIG on mild steel to weld as required by the manufacturing process.

• Operate shop equipment including: angle grinder, bench grinder, manual vertical band saw, shear, brake, punch presses, iron workers, cold saw, manual milling machine, table saw and others as directed.

• Willingness to provide support in other areas of the manufacturing process if needed.

• Read and fabricate from prints.

Welder Qualifications:

• 1+ year of fluxcore MIG welding on mild steel.

• Understanding of welding blueprints.

• Ability to operate relevant shop equipment.

• Ability to work well within a team.

• Ability to occasionally lift up to 100lbs
