Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for a Truck and Trailer Mechanic for a long-term, day shift position with a manufacturing company located in Clackamas. The person in this position will install and/or troubleshoot hydraulic, pneumatic, and low voltage electrical components on new and used trucks and trailers.
Pay: $30-$35/hr
Truck and Trailer Mechanic Responsibilities:

Install hydraulic, pneumatic, and low voltage electrical components on new and used trucks and trailers.

Make repairs on units in a timely and safe manner.

Weld, align, assemble, and perform repairs and installations.

Train and direct other Mechanics as needed.

Follow diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.

Maintain a clean and organized work station.

Perform other mechanical related duties as required or assigned.

Be available to work 50-60 hours/week, Monday through Friday with an occasional Saturday on day shift.
Truck and Trailer Mechanic Qualifications:

Experience in Truck and Trailer maintenance, repair, and/or training.

Must have hydraulic experience and/or training.

Working knowledge of air brake systems.

Must have hand tools.

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

Experience installing and troubleshooting basic 12V DC electrical systems.

Experience with minor plumbing.

Ability to pass pre-employment drug screen test (THC is not tested for).

Driver's License and comfort moving large trucks within the yard.

Forklift operation experience.

Proficiency in reading and interpreting schematics, blueprints, and diagrams.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
