LME Graveyard Shift

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill an Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) position with a client located in Portland, who specializes in manufacturing and distributing clothing and accessories for outdoor and active lifestyles!

In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance of all equipment and facilities at the distribution center, with an emphasis on the conveyor and sorter systems.

Limited Maintenance Electrician Responsibilities:

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance for all warehouse and office equipment to ensure proper operating conditions.

• Equipment includes conveyors, racking, lighting, security, forklifts, material handling equipment, fire protection and plumbing systems.

• Maintain, repair and replace electrical installations for facility per LME (licensed maintenance electrician) guidelines.

• Maintain logs of all preventive and breakdown maintenance performed on conveyors, forklifts and fire protection systems.

• Perform light janitorial duties and other duties as assigned.

• Complete tasks assigned by Maintenance Supervisor/Manager.

• Ensure that all tasks are completed in a safe, timely and correct manner.

• Frequently lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

• Maintain positive open lines of communication with all management, staff and other departments in order to contribute to the smooth flow of information and efficient operation of the organization.

• Ability to cope with a stressful work environment and cordially interact with coworkers to accomplish common tasks.

Limited Maintenance Electrician Specific Job Skills:

• Possess good working knowledge of practices regarding hazard communication, chemical usage, material safety data sheets, lock out/tag out, emergency evacuation procedures and emergency generation procedures.

• Requires valid LME (licensed maintenance electrician) certification.

• Possess intermediate computer skills.

• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

• Possess good verbal communications skills.

• Physical ability to climb stairs and ladders, climb stairs and use ladders, sit and stand for extended periods of time, and regularly lift/carry up to 40 pounds.

• Ability to use a variety of hand and powered tools, and possess an aptitude for mechanics.

• Experience maintaining warehouse equipment required.

Compensation and Details:

• Graveyard shift

• Sunday Night - Friday morning

• 9:50pm - 6:20am

• $36+/hr to start
