Madden Industrial Craftsmen, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic for a manufacturing facility in N. Portland. This person will be responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing and correcting equipment breakdowns and facility maintenance. This position also performs mechanical repairs to ensure the ongoing integrity and reliability of equipment in order to keep the plant operating safely and efficiently.



• Perform equipment repairs, modifications, installations, re locations and general facility maintenance.

• Obtain parts from the storeroom in accordance with our standard MRO inventory procedures.

• Assist with MRO storeroom cycle counts.

• Make minor repairs to electric forklifts and pallet jacks.

• Complete equipment repairs/modifications.

• Responsible to accurately enter eAM Work Order labor and materials daily into the CMMS.

• Use of electric/pneumatic tools in a safe manner.

• Basic housekeeping responsibilities in the facilities.

• Performs preventative maintenance on all equipment and systems.

• Perform general carpentry, welding and plumbing

• Installs new equipment and follows all training and communication procedures when new machines are installed as well as when current machines/processes are modified.



• Must have at least 3 years of industrial maintenance experience.

• Must have strong mechanical skills to perform PM and equipment repairs, modification, installation.

• Must have knowledge and understanding of LOTO (lock out tag out) procedures.

• The successful candidate must also pass a pre-employment background check, physical and drug screen.

• Must be able to read, write, comprehend and communicate in English



• $35.00/hour

• $1,500.00 retention bonus. It will be paid out in 2 installments, 1st $500 on the successful completion of the candidates first 90 days and the candidate remains in good standing, and the 2nd $1000.00 will be paid out after the candidates successful completion of their 6th month. Employee always has to be in good standing with no written warning and/or attendance issues.
