Journeyman Duct Fabricator

Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking to fill a Journeyman Duct Fabricator position with a manufacturing company located in Vancouver, WA. The person in this position will be doing layout and fabrication of sheet metal duct components.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, sketches, or products specifications to determine sequence and methods of fabrication, assembling, and installing sheet metal products.

• Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.

• Perform a variety of duties which include fabricate, assemble, install and repair sheet metal parts.

• Use hand tools, power tools, machines, and equipment to perform work.

Qualifications:

• Experience reading blueprints, sketches, and specifications.

• Experience fitting and fabricating sheet metal products (2+ years).

• Strong self-management skills.

• Fork lift and overhead crane operation experience.

• Able to lift 50 lbs. throughout production with or without reasonable accommodation.

• Proficiency in reading a tape measure and other layout tools.

• Reliable transportation.

• Pass a drug screen and background check.

Compensation:

• $22-28/hr
