With a strong commitment to quality and innovation, they are seeking a highly skilled Electro-Mechanical Technician with extensive experience in steel manufacturing to join their team on the night shift.
Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, M-drawings, and diagrams to accurately assemble parts, machines, and equipment.
Diagnose and trace electrical and mechanical faults in facility systems and production machinery.
Use precision measuring instruments to verify part specifications.
Inspect mechanical and electrical parts for defects and wear.
Test the performance and functionality of electro-mechanical assemblies.
Install electronic components using soldering tools and hand equipment.
Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot robotic equipment and automated systems.
Analyze and document test results; prepare written reports and technical documentation.
Provide hands-on support for both electrical and mechanical engineering functions.
Utilize bench and automated test equipment for routine diagnostics.
Qualifications:
Associate degree preferred; technical certifications in electrical or mechanical engineering are a plus.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance.
At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, preferably steel-related.
Proficient in the use of multimeters (current, voltage, resistance).
Strong hands-on experience with assembling/disassembling mechanical systems.
Skilled in soldering and working with electronic components.
Excellent organizational skills and strong attention to detail.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Capable of multitasking and prioritizing work under limited supervision.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Must be available to work night shifts, including Saturdays and Sundays.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English preferred.
