Service Technician The service technician job is the face of Kleen-Air to its customers therefore, it is imperative that the service technician is able to conduct themselves in a professional and polite manner. A service technician is responsible for the installation of HVAC filters at customer locations. Duties may vary at times due to personnel and/or production requirements. Loading • Service technician must be able to lift 50 pounds and manage materials on pallets with a pallet jack. • Service technicians load Kleen-Air’s vehicle and trailer with the product needed for that day’s jobs. Driving • Service technicians drive to customer location which can be multiple hours away from Groesbeck. • Service technicians must maintain a good driving record in accordance with company policy. Filter Installation • Service technicians install filters at customer locations. • Service technicians must be able to work in extreme weather conditions. • Service technicians must comply with all customer safety requirements including PPE wear. Communication • Always be alert for ways to streamline or make installation more efficient and keep open lines of communication with management. • Willingness to try new approaches to improve efficiency. • Communicate with management any issues with vehicles before small issues turn into big problems. • Answer customer questions and relay back to management any issues.
