Saw Operator
Labor Solutions is hiring for a plastics manufacturer in North East Kansas City. We are looking for a Saw Operator. The ideal candidate has experience operating CNC machinery, is comfortable cutting plastic material to size for fabrication purposes. This is a skilled position, but training is available for candidates with the right combination of experience and attitude. This is intended to apprentice into a union position for the right candidate, with long term career upside.
Hours- 7am-3:30pm Mon-Fri
Pay-$15-17/hr
Saw Operator Responsibilities
Establish layouts and evaluate alternative sheet sizes for better yield
Pull material for cutting in accordance with orders and maximum yield
Operate the Saws, rotating programing and ensuring safety
Saw Operator Requirements
- Five years experience operating CNC Machines preferred
- The ability to read and interpret detailed schematics
- Must be able to regularly lift 50lbs, manually load/unload the saw
