Job Summary

The Alamo Transformer Stacker is responsible for safely stacking, staging, and handling transformers and related materials within a warehouse or production environment. This role requires physical stamina, attention to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced industrial setting.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Stack, move, and stage transformers according to company specifications and safety standards
  • Load and unload transformers from pallets, carts, or designated staging areas
  • Assist with material handling, organization, and inventory placement
  • Maintain clean and orderly work areas to support safe operations
  • Follow all safety procedures, including proper lifting techniques and use of PPE
  • Communicate with supervisors and team members regarding workflow and material needs
  • Support production or warehouse operations as assigned
  • Report damaged materials, safety concerns, or equipment issues immediately

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must be able to pass a drug test and background check
  • Ability to perform physically demanding work for the duration of the shift
  • Ability to follow and give verbal and written instructions in English
  • Ability to comply with all safety rules, policies, and procedures
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Preferred Qualifications

  • 1 year experience in manufacturing, or industrial environments
  • Prior experience stacking, staging, or handling heavy materials
  • Familiarity with basic warehouse safety practices
  • Experience working in fast-paced or production-based settings
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing workloads and priorities
  • Demonstrated history of strong work ethic and dependability

Working Environment

  • Industrial warehouse or production facility
  • Exposure to noise, machinery, dust, and varying temperatures
  • Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks
  • Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as gloves, safety shoes, and other required safety gear

 

Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, squat, reach, and twist for extended periods
  • Ability to frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials within safety guidelines
  • Ability to perform repetitive motions throughout the shift
  • Ability to work in a standing position for most of the workday
  • Ability to use hands and arms for grasping, handling, and stacking materials
  • Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
