The Heavy Lifter is responsible for supporting daily warehouse, production, construction or moving operations by safely lifting, moving, and organizing heavy materials or equipment. Occasionally, we will assist with cleaning, sweeping and ensuring the job site is left clean and organized.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lift, move, and stack heavy materials, products, or equipment (often 50 lbs or more).
  • Load and unload trucks, pallets, and containers.
  • Assist with the setup and teardown of equipment, inventory, or event materials as needed.
  • Assist with cleaning job site by sweeping, mopping, picking, and taking out trash.  
  • Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and team leaders.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Operate basic tools and assist with inventory when required.
  • Follow all safety protocols and report hazards or incidents promptly.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Must have valid registration on the vehicle and the ability to show current insurance.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a background check.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy items repeatedly throughout the shift.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
  • Ability to follow directions and work as part of a team.

Preferred Qualification

  • Previous experience in warehouses, construction, moving, or general labor is a plus.
  • Familiarity with basic material handling equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, dollies).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends if needed.

Working Environment

  • Work may be performed in warehouses, production facilities, event venues, or outdoor settings.
  • Exposure to varying temperatures, weather conditions, noise, and dust may occur depending on the job site.
  • Fast-paced, team-oriented environment with strict safety protocols.
  • Wear appropriate safety PPE as determined by the job site, such as hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, and/or safety shoes. 
  • Must be flexible with shifts and weekends to meet or complete project deadlines. 

Physical and Mental Requirements 

  • Must be able to lift, carry, push, or pull 50–75 lbs repeatedly.
  • Frequent walking, standing, bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Ability to climb stairs or ladders, crouch, or kneel as needed.
  • Must be able to work on feet for long periods.
  • Strong attention to detail and situational awareness.
  • Ability to stay focused and alert in physically demanding conditions.
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative when needed.
  • Must be able to handle repetitive tasks and maintain a consistent workflow.
