Responsibilities: 

  • Support accounting operations by processing construction transactions and maintaining records.
  • Maintain accounting records by verifying and processing invoices
  • Perform pay app account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
  • Utilize construction accounting software (Project Mates) to record financial transactions, update payment information in the system and process and change orders
  • Collaborate with internal teams to gather necessary financial information for reporting purposes
  • The employee may be required to perform other duties as assigned


Qualifications: 

  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles
  • Proficiency in using accounting software
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulations
  • Strong financial acumen and understanding of accounting principles

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Some postgraduate is preferred
  • Previous experience in construction accounting is preferred
  • Experience in using Project Mates is a plus.

Working Environment:

  • Combination of general office and field work require travel to any clients location as well alternate locations where client events may be held or staff are located. 

  • Ability to travel to and from client meetings, training sessions and other business related events, with familiarity of all clients sites and security access protocols for sensitive or secure locations. 

  • Use of personal computing equipment, telephone, multi-functioning printer and audio/visual equipment. 

  • After hours and weekend work may be required. 

 

Physical Demands:

Requires manual dexterity, sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching and crawling. Must be able to exert or lift up to 60 pounds.
