Work Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday / Must be flexible with work hours and workdays

Rate of Pay: $12.50/hr


The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the building and offices they work in.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Dusting and Wiping: Dust and wipe all surfaces, including desks, tables, chairs, and other office furniture.

· Sweeping, Mopping, and Vacuuming: Perform regular floor cleaning, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming carpets and rugs.

· Emptying Trash: Empty trash bins and replace liners, ensuring waste is disposed of properly.

· Restocking Supplies: Replenish restroom supplies such as toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels.

· Cleaning and Sanitizing: Clean and sanitize toilets, sinks, and mirrors.

· Floor Care: Mop restroom floors and ensure they are dry and slip-free.

· Waste Management: Ensure sanitary disposal of restroom waste.

· Window and Glass Cleaning: Clean windows, glass doors, and partitions to ensure they are smudge-free.

· Polishing: Polish metal fixtures and furniture to maintain a clean and professional appearance.

· Vacuuming Upholstery: Vacuum and clean upholstered furniture and office chairs.

· Surface Cleaning: Wipe down counters, tables, and appliances.

· Dishwashing: Wash and store dishes, cups, and utensils.

· Refrigerator Cleaning: Regularly clean out and sanitize the refrigerator.

· Spill Cleanup: Respond to spills and accidents promptly to ensure safety and cleanliness.

· Safe Chemical Use: Use cleaning chemicals and supplies according to safety guidelines.

· Maintenance Reporting: Report any maintenance or repair needs to the appropriate personnel.

· Adherence to Standards: Follow company cleaning procedures and standards to ensure a hygienic environment.


Minimum Qualifications

  • 6 Months + Experience in housekeeping, janitorial services, or commercial cleaning
  • Must work independently with minimal supervision to manage their time and workload efficiently.
  • Flexibility to work the required hours, including early mornings, evenings, or weekends.
  • Must have own transportation and valid Driver's License
  • Must be able to pass background check
  • Must be able to pass drug screening
  • Strong attendance and punctuality.
  • Ability to interact professionally with office staff and visitors.
  • Knowledge of how to operate basic cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners, floor buffers, and mops.
  • Ability to notice areas that require cleaning or maintenance and address them appropriately.
  • Ability to manage time effectively to complete tasks within a set schedule.
  • Knowledge of how to use cleaning chemicals safely and effectively.
  • Capability to lift and carry items up to a certain weight (usually 25-50 pounds).
  • Ability to perform physical tasks for extended periods, including standing, walking, bending, and reaching.
  • Ability to perform tasks that require repetitive motion, such as sweeping, mopping, or wiping surfaces.


Working Environment

There may be exposure to chemical hazards and strong chemical smells. There may be exposure to respiratory hazards such as dust and allergens. They may be exposed to bodily fluids. Are often exposed to sounds and noise levels that are distracting or uncomfortable.


Physical and Mental Requirements

· Exerting up to 30 pounds of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body.

· Must be able to stand, walk, sit, handle, reach outward, reach above shoulder, crawl, squat/Kneel, bend, push, and pull frequently. Maintain body equilibrium to prevent falling when walking, standing, or crouching on a work surface.

· Ability to use upper and lower extremities to move or transport 25 to 30 pounds, including pressing against something to force it in a forward, downward or outward position or drag, haul 25 to 30 pounds

· Ability to bend the body downward and forward by bending the spine at the waist, bending legs at the knees and moving extremities in any direction

· Ability to withstand physical demands on the body, including being in a stationary and/or standing position most of the day

· Ability to express and exchange ideas using the spoken word, including where detailed or important spoken instructions must be conveyed to other workers accurately, loudly, or quickly

· Ability to understand, remember, and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information
