Job Summary

Guest Services Staff are responsible for assisting guests during events such as but not limited to sports games and concerts.

 

 

Essential Functions:

  • Ushering guests to their seats as indicated on their tickets.

  • Scanning tickets for entry or re-entry to venue.

  • Ensuring venue guidelines for all guest safety are met.

  • Assisting with screening guests at metal detectors and venue guidelines for guests are met.

  • Assisting guests at elevators and escalators to ensure guest is going to the correct level

  • Report any activity that may affect the safety and well-being of the guests

  • Providing ADA equipment to guest that may require those services.

 

Minimum Qualification

  • Must have excellent customer service skills

  • Flexible around working days and hours, including weekends and occasional nights.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Knowledge of basic cleaning products

  • Follow directions and able to adapt to change


Physical and Mental Requirements

  • Must have good hygiene and clean appearance

  • This job involves long periods of standing and walking long distances

  • Ability to maintain productivity requirements in a fast-paced facility

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

  • Ability to understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information.

  • Ability to remember and communicate routine, factual information.

  • Ability to organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology

  • Ability to apply common sense and make decisions which have a moderate impact on the immediate work unit

  • Ability to understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines.

  • Ability to express or exchange ideas by means of the spoken word, communicating orally with others accurately, loudly, and quickly

 

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Background screenings is required

  • Drug screening is required

 

Work Environment

 

Work areas are typical of a stadium/arena/event facility, which includes working with and around bleachers, floors and chairs. Worker is exposed to noise from event and guests. There is sufficient noise to cause the worker to shout to be heard above ambient noise level.
