Qualifications

Individual must have knowledge of raw material and inventory experience

Previous Fish Cutter/Butcher experience

Available to work in 40 degree refrigerated warehouse
responsibilities:

Responsible for product cut to specifications, with proper yields and high quality

Must be able to cut all species of fish, fresh and saltwater
-
Works the Salmon Fillet production line, responsible for yields in the decap process
-
Sanitizing, disinfecting, and cleaning procedures in place

As a member of the Fish team, Fish Cutters are skilled at cleaning, butchering and preparing various fish/seafood products for Citarella’s stores

This role will have a solid understanding of proper fish butchering and seafood in a high volume, fast paced department while working in a cold-climate environment•

Breaking down, filleting of various fish products

Support Fish Associate workload when needed, e.g. gutting, cleaning, de-scaling, removing bones, portioning
-
Package and label all orders to ensure correct allocation of product to store locations

Maintain and stock product in warehouse, understanding product dating and inventory control

Maintain clean and sanitary workstation and storage area

Follow all safety guidelines/requirements
