About Position
A premiere partner, a leader in manufacturing auto care products is hiring in Dayton, OH. These are entry level and intermediate level positions and training will be provided. Roles available are packaging & assembly, forklift, and machine operator.
Full time schedules are available with the opportunity to work overtime. These are 8 hour shifts, Monday - Friday; Saturdays may be required as overtime.
Schedules Available:
1st: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM Monday - Friday
2nd: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM Monday - Friday
3rd: 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM Monday - Friday
Compensation: $12.50/hr - $16.50/hr. (Pay will depend on experience and position)
Positions Available:
-
Packaging & Assembly - make boxes, pack product, assemble displays, add correct labels when needed - fast pace work, standing entire shift, hand dexterity is important

Forklift Operator - safely operate stand-up tow motor around production lines, bring product to/from production lines, load/unload containers, accurately track pallets when loading/unloading, use RF scanner accurately to keep track of products and pallets

Machine Operator - safe operation, setup, repair, preventative maintenance of equipment, identify abnormalities, write work orders for repairs, ability to calculate OEE % and scrap dollars, ensure the line is adequately supplied to meet production metrics, have thorough working knowledge of all line operations and the ability to demonstrate process proficiency within job classification
Job Responsibilities:

Rework/sort product for defects as needed

Must always keep work area clean

Accurately record scrap, downtime, and production for the production/scrap tracking report

Maintain housekeeping as needed and at the end of the shift

Immediately inform shift/department crew leader of any changes in product quality or machine operation

Perform any other duties as requested by the shift/department crew supervisor

Clearly communicates with prior and subsequent shift associates
Candidates MUST:
-
Have 6-12 months of proven work history

Pass pre-employment screening

Physically be able to work 8-hours shifts; standing, moving, stepping, hand coordination, etc.
