Position Overview
We are looking for a Material Handlers, Machine Operators, and general production associates. This would be a great opportunity for some who would like a good career in manufacturing. Hire in rates range from $18.40 - $22.50 /hr depending on department and shift. Our client is a 7 billion dollar a year in sales company and has multiple facilities around Lake county, Ohio. Loaded with benefits and progressive pay increases within the first couple of years of permanent employment.
Responsibilities - Material Handlers

Check incoming deliveries to make sure all ordered material meets quality standards

Load and unload packages

Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, cranes etc.

Receive and check incoming pick tickets

Pull material to fulfill orders properly

Wrap orders and place them on trucks for delivery

Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed

Document orders, materials and any stock movements

Operating machines - all trainable

General labor

QC checks on customer specs
Skills
-
Proven experience as a Material Handler, Warehouse Associate or similar position

Familiarity with voice picking systems or RF devices is a plus
-
Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts, pallet jacks)

Dexterity and attention to detail

Organizational skills
-
Ability to meet the physical demands of the job

Availability to occasionally work overtime

High school diploma
