Pay Range: $17.00/hour

Schedule: 1st shift (7:00 AM to 3:30 PM), Monday through Friday

    Responsibilities

  • Covers and puts away chemicals used for the day.
    Transports materials necessary from storage area to production and properly record them in Data Ninja.

  • Accountable for cleaning the compounding work area, maintaining equipment cleaning and operating in a clean environment.

  • Ensuring that the products manufactured are of the highest standards and meets all the criteria prior to release to inventory so that they are in accordance with company specification and procedures.

  • Ensure compliance of GMP’s and company policy and procedures for cosmetic manufacturing.

  • Assure batch records are maintained according to company requirements and SOP’s. 

  • Engage in process development and resolve production problems and errors. 

  • Maintain an adequate supply of chemical raw materials in work area and notify supervisor or warehouse of any shortages. 

  • Be able to have a good working knowledge of math, weights and measurements so that recipes are correctly followed. 

  • Communicate with supervisor on production issues. 

  • Must be able to work with urgency and effectively drive production to ensure targets are achieved. 

  • Attend monthly production/quality/R&D and maintenance huddles. 

  • Participate in annual cycle counts. 

  • Participate in goal setting and performance evaluation with supervisor.

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. 

  • Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures. 

  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks. 

  • Ability to work under pressure. 

  • Creative thinking and self-motivation. 

  • Teamwork and collaboration skills. 

  • Must be able to speak, read, and write in English.  

  • A high school diploma or equivalent. 

  • Valid state motor vehicle operator’s license. 

  • At least one (1) year of work experience in a manufacturing/warehouse environment. 

  • Experience with the ERP system NetSuite and the manufacturing execution system Data Ninja is preferred. 

  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times. 

  • Ability to bend, stoop, walk, stand, push and pull various items. 

  • Ability to climbs steps and work on a platform. 

  • Ability to stand/walk for extended periods. 

  • Ability to move around the warehouse.
