Equipment Operator (1st Shift)

Would you like to be part of a great team and have a career full of opportunity? Infinity Staffing Solutions is searching for a Forklift Operator to join our team in Plainfield. This Temporary-to-Hire opportunity is for 1st shift (6:00 AM to 2:30 PM), Monday through Friday.

Pay Rate: $20.50/hour

• Responsibilities

  • Heavy order selecting and picking tasks, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders

  • Skillfully operate trucks to move items, navigate narrow aisles, and access high storage areas

  • Build pallets with precision and attention to detail, ensuring that they are stable and secure for transport

  • On occasion, assist with putting away tasks to optimize warehouse organization

  • Heavy order selecting and picking tasks, ensuring accurate and timely fulfillment of customer orders

  • Other duties as assigned

• Qualifications

  •  Be at least 18 years of age.
    • Possess 1-3 years of relevant work experience
    • Demonstrate ability to frequently lift heavy items and reach elevated storage locations.
    • Be comfortable working in extreme temperature zones, including freezers and coolers.
    • Readiness to work long shifts, predominantly standing or moving.
    • Exhibit constant physical motion, including bending, twisting, and maneuvering equipment to retrieve products.
    • At least 2 years of experience operating electric pallet jacks or forklifts.
    • 2 years of warehouse, military, or other physically active job experience.
    • 2 years of selection experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
    • 2 years of consistent work history, demonstrating reliability and commitment.
    • Proficiency in picker/packer roles, including safe and efficient handling of warehouse equipment.
    • Ability to operate a stock picker and comfortably work from elevated positions.
    • Competency with computers, particularly Microsoft Outlook and Excel, for effective communication and inventory management.
    • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure order accuracy and product safety.
    • Effective communication skills to coordinate with team members and supervisors
