Roles and Responsibilities:

We are looking to fill an Operations Supervisor position to work on-site in our operations department. This individual will work directly with the Operations Manager to assist with the day-to-day operations functions and duties. An important part of the role is to oversee operations and employees in all areas of the plant; production, packaging, shipping/receiving, and maintenance. The Operations Supervisor will oversee training, complete assessments of new personnel and will be responsible for confirming tasks and SOPs are being performed correctly. This position may include assisting with limited HR related functions (onboarding,training). This is a hands-on position that will be trained in our processes and work alongside employees on the plant floor. This is NOT an office position or desk job.

 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Submit Production Report

  • Training using Competency Assessment forms for specific departments and duties

  • Confirming daily task forms, batch folders, captured resin weights, actual counts, and completion of maintenance documents.

  • Confirming Weekly and Monthly Maintenance Inspections

  • Confirm adherence to company policies

  • Monthly Inventory Count

  • Weekly scanning of Packaging and Weights log

  • Weekly scanning of all Shipping/Receiving documents

  • Ensuring Maintenance work orders are completed and submitted

  • Regulate and monitor employee breaks/lunches

  • Other duties assigned

 

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Associate's Degree or comparable relevant work experience

  • 3-5 years of Production Supervisor or Operations Supervisor experience overseeing a minimum of 10 employees

  • Ability to speak, read, and write in English

  • Bilingual - Spanish speaker preferred but not required

  • Excellent communicator

  • Must be detail oriented

  • Ability to follow, and give, instructions

 

***** Will train on days Mon - Fri 8:00 am to 4:30 pm for first 90 days. Then will go to a rotating shift working every other weekend. Hours are 7:00 pm - 5pm *****
