Production Supervisor

The Production Supervisor is responsible for, but not limited to, personnel and production line operations supervision, operating assigned machine(s), area maintenance, and area housekeeping.

Responsibilities

• Supervision of the Production Line Operations and Personnel

• Planning and organizing production schedules

• Setting up and operating machines according to the Production Work Order Requirements, On-the-Job Training (OJT) and/or machine operation procedures

• Follow, monitor, and enforce all safety and environmental policies

• Ensure all finished product samples are submitted to the lab for approval while following lab instructions

• Continuously looking to improe the workforce through training, hiring of new personell, or meetings with employees

• Assist with training new Production personnel

• Responsible fro production personnel evaluations

• Remain in compliance with facility ISO and IATF standards
  

• Perform other duties as assigned 

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
  

• Minimum 3+ years of supervisory experience in manufacturing industry (oil industry preferred)
  

• Ability to read, write, and speak English

• Basic computer software skills (including Microsoft Office and Outlook)
  

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

• Frequent lifting, bending, sitting and standing

• Communicate effectively in written and oral form using positive interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi-task during various work assignments in a time-efficient manner

• Ability to problem-solve any production-related issues that arise

• Ability to present data to management in production meetings

• Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or approaches to problems

• Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, human resources, leadership techniques, production methods, and coordination of people and resources

• Ability to work mandatory overtime

• Ability to work productively and safely
