Are you looking for a rewarding career with a company that prioritizes safety in the workplace? Infinity Staffing Solutions is seeking a Machine Operator on the Westside of Indianapolis! This is a temp-to-hire position for 1st shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime opportunities on Fridays as needed. 


Pay Rate: $18.00/hour

Responsibilities

  • Work under a Shop Supervisor and with shop team members using applied practices

  • Practice safe, thorough, and positive work habits

  • Study and learn blueprints or specifications

  • Use basic math skills to calculate dimensions and weights

  • Inspect material before and after Threading to ensure proper quality is achieved

  • Use overhead bridge cranes to move material around

  • Use rigging techniques to safely move material

  • Request material for specific jobs

  • Cut steel rods using a chop saw/cut steel flat stock for base plates

  • Use a Threading machine to thread steel rods

  • Perform Die changes on the threading machine per diameter rod

  • Use an Iron Worker to shear and punch steel flat

  • Inventory of steel nuts for anchor bolts

  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications

  • Ability to perform job duties safely and within a timely manner

  • Ability to read a tape measure

  • Ability to demonstrate safe and positive work habits

  • High School Diploma or equivalent

  • Willingness to work 40 plus hours per week

  • Reliable transportation

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs

  • Good organizational skills
