Equipment Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $24.00/hour depending on experience

Shift/Schedule: 1st shift (6:00 AM to 4:30 PM), Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Performs preventative maintenance inspections and repairs as assigned

• Safely dismantles machinery or equipment using hammers, wrenches, crowbars, and necessary tools 

• Assembles and installs equipment and parts necessary to accomplish optimal production efficiency using available tools and supplies

• Performs tasks necessary to support proper machine operations and facility operations

• Completes all planned maintenance activities within the specified timeframe

• Properly selects the equipment and tools needed to perform the assigned tasks

• Performs tasks related to multi-craft maintenance such as pipe fitting, welding, electrical wiring and conduit assembly, fabrication, and equipment troubleshooting, etc.

• Assists in creating, updating, and frequently improving the Preventative Maintenance Plan

• Follows instructions, reads electrical schematics, and utilities equipment documentation to troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment, troubleshoots machine failure and recommends solutions for repair, and resolves any breakdown issues with minimal impact on production

• May direct other workers to assist in maintenance activities

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Must have 3-5 years of Industrial Maintenance experience

• Must be able to perform job duties safely and within a timely manner

• Must be able to demonstrate safe and positive work habits

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent

• Must be willing to work 40-plus hours per week

• Must have reliable transportation

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs

• Good organizational skills
