Location: Southwest side of Indianapolis
Shift: 3rd Shift 11pm-7:00am (Initial 1 week or until fully trained, training will be on 1st shift)
Environment: Manufacturing, Clean, some dust when machines running, non-climate controlled
Operate and oversee all aspects of the Clamp Truck, line-up, roll stock and Roll room ensuring quality
products in a safe and efficient manner. The operator is responsible for knowing how to perform all of the job duties associated with operation.
Primary Responsibilities:

Know roll stock rotation and warehouse map. Keep the warehouse well organized with all rolls in assigned locations and all tags facing the same direction

Verify the incoming roll stock with the supplier’s shipping manifest. Perform incoming inspections. Tag and put rolls away

Print tags and receive roll stock on computer

Assist in training new clamp truck drivers.

Safely and successfully operate the clamp truck following plant procedures

Assist in identifying slow moving or obsolete grades/widths so that plans can be made to use them

Ability to identify and correct causes of peel waste

Ability to properly secure trailers, load and unload them in a safe way
Requirements:
-
1-2 years clamp truck experience
-
HS Diploma or GED
-
Attention to detail
-
Knowledge of how to use basic measuring devices
-
Physical abilities to bend, stoop, squat, stand for long periods of time, perform repetitious activities, lift up to 50lbs
Background and Drug Screen Required.
