Essential duties • Perform routine and preventative maintenance: Conduct scheduled inspections, oil changes, lubrication, fluid level checks, and tire rotations. • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues: Use diagnostic tools and test equipment to identify problems in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems. • Repair and replace parts: Disassemble, repair, or replace worn or malfunctioning components like pistons, injectors, transmissions, and brakes. • Work on complex systems: Repair and maintain major systems, including engines, electrical systems, cooling systems, and exhaust systems. • Conduct safety and emissions inspections: Perform safety checks to ensure vehicles meet regulations. • Test and adjust equipment: Test-drive or operate repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and make final adjustments.
