The Receiving Clerk will have the below job duties in a busy Fulfillment Center environment:
Unload Shipments: Receive and unload incoming deliveries from trucks.
Inspect Goods: Check for damages, verify quantities, and ensure the product matches the shipping documents (invoices, packing slips, etc.).
Data Entry: Log received items into inventory management systems (using handheld scanners).
Labeling & Tagging: Label products or pallets with barcodes or tracking information.
Organize Inventory: Sort and place goods in the appropriate storage locations within the warehouse.
Maintain Cleanliness & Safety: Keep the receiving area clean and adhere to safety standards.
Requirements: Must have 1 year minimum of receiving experience. Must have excellent attention to detail, including the ability to count accurately, and be a team player.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- 1 year minimum as a Receiving Clerk
