Job Title: Assembler/Team Member: While working in the production department, the Assembler performs all tasks related to the production of the company’s products at the plant, and will be responsible for safe and flawless production to meet clients' needs. Responsibilities: 1. Adhere to all safety guidelines for the production and handling of materials in the facility. 2. Keep work area clean and free of hazards. 3. Review, learn, and follow all "Work Standard" steps and safety requirements in a constant state of awareness, wearing required personal protective equipment at all times; Q-Point; and all other manufacturing processes to ensure a defect-free product. 4. Report issues or problems to the immediate Supervisor. - Investigate all alarms online, never bypassing a part or allowing an alarm to continue. - Remove alarmed part to NG table for QC investigation. - Maintain courteous and positive relationships with all co-workers, vendors, visitors, and customers. - Will not modify or disable the safety devices of equipment or safety fences without the approval of the manager. - Defective products generated during work are handled in accordance with the “Defective Product Handling Procedure.” - Store tools in their original location after use. 5. Defective products should never be used. 6. Participate in all scheduled group activities, meetings, or training. 7. Cross train in other positions or departments as needed. 8. Partner with peers and supervisors during rotation, troubleshooting and training, to improve productivity. 9. When materials are exhausted, notify the materials team member or team leader to prevent work from being stopped. Standing (frequency: constant) up to 4 hours continuously to work production line. 2. Walking (frequency: occasional) to move about location and around equipment. 3. Balancing (frequency: constant) to walk about the worksite and prevent falling. 4. Stooping/squatting/bending (frequency: occasional) to inspect equipment. 5. Reaching forward (frequency: constant) to reach 6. Handling/feeling/gripping (frequency: constant) to assemble parts, use hand tools, grip (up to 30 pounds of force) bolts and dust covers. 7. Lifting (frequency: frequent): a. Off-loading positions : up to 30 pounds to place axle from conveyor (37 inches) to rack (10~37 inches) b. All other positions: lift 30 pounds from 10 inches to 37 inches c. Loading of finished goods : Lift 67 pounds from 37 inches to 10~37 inches (However, a hoist can be used.) 8. Carrying (frequency: occasional) 30 pounds up to 6 feet. 9. Pushing/pulling (frequency: occasional) to move loaded carts with force of 130 pounds at waist height. 10. Vision/depth perception (frequency: constant) to distinguish objects by sight and judge distance and spatial relationships. Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the Assembler/Team Member–Production is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and vibration/Nose. May be exposed to fumes or airborne particles, or temperature fluctuation in areas of the facility.
