Screen Print Lead Operator
Working in a production or fulfillment center or warehouse, which sells shirts, sweatshirts, and some jackets. Responsible for stacking shirts neatly at end of dryer while keeping up with pace of machine, doing quality control checks entire time, alerting operators or supervisors of any quality issues, and assisting assigned team with cleaning, set up, and tear down duties needed throughout day.
1. Be able to work scheduled hours and willing to work overtime if needed
2. Be present at assigned work station once clocked in
3. Repetitively stack shirts at end of dryer as they come out, not let shirts fall on ground or in bin
4. Keep pace with machine and be able to stand in one place for several hours at a time
5. Look for and find defects or flaws in print and on garment while stacking; be able to repair shirts that can be repaired using tools and procedures given
6. Alert operators and supervisors of any issues discovered while stacking
7. Have ability to twist, turn, and lift up to 40 lbs.
8. Learn terminology used by dept. in order to communicate with operators and team members
9. Have ability to handle garments that are hot; gloves provided
10.Remove test prints from bins and stock into front bins for operators to use as test prints
11.Sweep and pick up trash that accumulates throughout and end of day
12.Stage correct shirts for each order being set up to be printed and stage completed shirts at correct machine to complete order or designated area
13. Be willing to cross train in other positions or departments as needed Experience: Some experience needed in screen printing; 1 or more years of experience in either a Fulfillment Center like Amazon.com or Fulfillment.com or being a Picker in a WH 2 or more years of experience in a Fulfillment Center is a plus. Ability to count and record data, detail oriented, accurate, quick learner, team player. Ability to work in a fast paced environment . Ability to memorize and recall abbreviations. Must be able to occasionally lift or move up to 40 lbs. Ability to stand for long periods of time
