Position: Sales Associate
Location: Smyrna, GA
Starting Pay: $65K. Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm.


Responsibilities:

  • Achieve consistent sales activities related to new client development for all assigned events and territories.
  • Maintain daily records of outreach and client engagement, contributing to monthly, quarterly, and annual sales performance metrics.
  • Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives by executing outbound sales, U.S. Pavilion sales, and event sales for exhibit space, sponsorships, and marketing opportunities.
  • Assist in the facilitation of operations (sales orders) for U.S. Pavilions at assigned events.
  • Provide high-level customer service for exhibitors before, during, and after events, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Communicate sales and marketing progress with management and relevant global and domestic show teams.
  • Maintain effective relationships with diverse groups under high-pressure situations to ensure client retention.
  • Travel as required, including potential international assignments, to attend events and meet with clients.
  • Anticipate problems and opportunities, taking initiative to follow through quickly and independently.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required; one to three years of related experience in sales or a combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in tradeshow sales, sponsorship, or customer service is a plus.
  • Knowledge of international events and trade shows is beneficial.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications required.
  • Experience with CRM systems, particularly Salesforce or similar, preferred.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic agility, creative thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to travel (including internationally); must possess a valid U.S. passport with no restrictions.

Essential Functions:

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods.
  • Must be able to move about inside the office to access files, office machinery, and supplies.
  • Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery such as a copier, scanner, and printer.
  • Frequently communicates with customers and team members—must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Must be able to travel up to 25-35% of the time, including internationally.

Work Environment:

  • Work is primarily performed in an office setting, with occasional travel to trade shows, client sites, and international destinations.
  • Often work indoors but may sometimes work remotely or travel to various locations.
  • Occasionally exposed to distracting noise levels typical in event and tradeshow environments.
  • Work near others and often share the same workspace.
