Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Manager to lead our sales team and drive revenue growth. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of developing sales strategies, manage key accounts, and build strong client relationships. This role requires excellent leadership skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to motivate and inspire a team to achieve sales targets.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Leading, recruiting, and managing a nationwide team of Independent Sales Agents (ISAs) and Independent Sales Organizations (ISOs).
- Coaching agents to increase productivity and improve sales performance consistently.
- Training new and existing agents on full suite of merchant services: credit/debit card processing, EBT, mobile wallets, virtual terminals, e-commerce, customer financing, business capital, cash advance, gift card and loyalty rewards, and more.
- Making 40+ outbound calls per day to ISAs/ISOs and prospects to support, train, and motivate.
- Helping develop and execute campaigns and strategies to drive channel growth and improve market penetration.
- Reviewing applications, contracts, and documentation with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Maintaining and updating CRM data (Zoho CRM) with activity, notes, and pipeline progress.
- Conducting performance reviews, tracking agent activity, and equipping agents with the tools needed for success.
- Upholding company standards for professionalism, responsiveness, and follow-through.
- Collaborating cross-functionally with other departments and assisting where needed to support team goals.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of sales channel or ISO management experience in B2B
- Strong communication skills — both verbal and written. You’ll be a leader, coach, and representative of NPP.
- Technically proficient with strong computer and typing skills — able to navigate CRMs, spreadsheets, video conferencing and other digital tools quickly and accurately.
- High level of personal accountability, humility, integrity, maturity, adaptability, and a “pitch in wherever needed” attitude.
- Coachable and emotionally mature — You take constructive feedback well and don’t let ego get in the way of improvement.
- Strong knowledge of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, etc.) and comfortable using them for prospecting, branding, and sharing value-based content.
- A natural critical thinker, problem solver and encourager — someone who thrives on helping others win.
- Experience with merchant services, customer financing products, gift cards, cash advances, or other value-added services.
- Experience with CRM or partner management systems.
- Experience leading remote sales teams.
- Demonstrated success in high-volume call environments.
- Already strong online social media presence.
- Comfortable being on camera for video conferencing and social media posts.
