Position: Seamstress

Pay Rate: $18.00 /hourly

Location: Manteca, CA

Schedule: Monday - Friday | 6:00am - 2:30pm - may have to work OT as needed

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. The Seamstress will work closely with designers and clients to bring their visions to life, requiring both creativity and technical sewing skills.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Create custom orthopedic support products from using specialized fabrics and sewing techniques.
• Fitting & Adjustment
• Measure and fit, to ensure orthopedic backbarce pouch to provide proper support and comfort.
• Make detailed adjustments based on current project needs
• Maintain, organized, and safe workspace in accordance with healthcare standards.

Qualifications:

• Sewing Skills
• Proficient in both hand and machine sewing with a solid understanding of fabric types and their application.
• Attention to Detail, ability to work with precision—especially when measuring and adjusting for precision binding.
• Basic Anatomy & Orthopedic Knowledge
• Understanding of human anatomy and orthopedic principles is helpful in crafting supportive and effective products.
• Communication Skills
• Capable of explaining product use and working collaboratively closely with team members.
• Physical Stamina
• Comfortable standing for extended periods and handling lightweight materials and equipment. Rotation of sewing stations, walking, moving locations.
