Employee Experience
Human Resources Administration
• Partners with employees and management to communicate various policies, procedures, laws.
• Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all employees; assists in development and implementation of policies and procedures; prepares and maintains employee handbook and policies and procedures manual.
• Conducts new-employee orientation and oversees employee on-boarding program. Works with Senior Director to evaluate program for continuous improvements.
• Maintains HRIS system by entering or approving data entered into HRIS and compiles reports.
• Administers various Employee Experience programs including rewards, recognition programs, education programs and perks.
• Maintains accurate data for compliance purposes and files or oversees the filing of various reports including EEO-1, 5500s, OSHA.
Benefit Administration
• Overall ownership for benefits administration for Dachis Group and assists as necessary with subsidiaries on alternate benefit plans.
• Manages and administers activities related to group health, dental, vision, STD, LTD, FSA and all company-related benefit plans.
• Educates employees on available benefits.
• Coordinates efforts with insurance broker and various insurance carriers as necessary.
• Oversees the maintenance of employee benefit records online and in employee files.
• Ensures employee information is accurate and submitted in a timely manner to insurance carriers.
• Ensures compliance and keeps abreast of government regulations and changes.
• Manages open enrollment process and makes recommendations to ensure benefits are competitive and cost effective.
• Performs reconciliation of monthly bills to ensure accuracy and timely payment.
• Processes and administers all leave of absence requests, disability paperwork: medical, personal, disability, FMLA. Effectively interpret FMLA and ADA implications as they related to leaves of absences/disabilities.
• Responds to 401(k) inquiries from managers and employees relating to enrollments, plan changes and contribution amounts. Manage the annual catch up contribution enrollment of the 50+ participants.
Payroll Administration
• Administers payroll on a semi-monthly basis
• Ensures all pay rates and deductions are accurate
• Maintain employee tax withholdings, direct deposits, and wage garnishments
• Review and process hourly employee timesheets in accordance with company policies and procedures
• Review and validate annual W-2’s
• Answers employee questions related to payroll; resolves discrepancies by performing analyses
• Prepare and distribute various payroll related reports
• Calculates commission and bonus payments as needed
Required Experience
• A bachelor's degree and three (3) to five (5) years of Human Resources experience and PHR certification.
• Thorough understanding of legal implications related to human resources principles and practices.
• Experience managing large group benefit plans (100+ employee group)
• Previous experience driving open enrollment processes and evaluating benefit selections
• Experience administering payroll for multi-state company
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent customer service experience and communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize work load
• Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent MS Word, Excel and Powerpoint skills; preferably in a MAC environment
• High energy, resourceful and proactive approach to work
• Ability to interact with all levels of employees
