This position is for an experimental test technician in the Materials & Processes Engineering Mechanical Test Group. This position will support the set-up, execution, analysis and reporting of material characterization tests including wear, fatigue and crack growth. Duties will include understanding and operating laboratory mechanical test equipment, data acquisition and closed loop control systems. Individual must recognize, diagnose and repair equipment and instrumentation problems.. Associates degree in Mechanical Engineering/Technology or Manufacturing AP License Preferred. Excellent interpersonal, teaming and communication skills Must be highly mechanically inclined Experience with hands-on mechanical tasks Experience with electro-mechanical systems. 4 years of experience
