Position Summary
Work hours: 8 hours per day within core the business hours of 7am – 5pm, set schedule is flexible
Current Hybrid Schedule: Mondays & Tuesdays onsite


The Recruiting Coordinator (RC) supports various needs across the Talent Acquisition function. As a Recruiting Coordinator you will support the recruiting and hiring processes by providing administrative and logistical support to recruiters in the areas of interview scheduling, calendar coordination, pre-employment screening processes and other logistics. This role allows visibility into multiple lines of business, and exposure to various levels of leadership. You will ensure satisfaction of hiring managers, candidates and new hires by providing responsive, high quality, professional service and support in the recruiting function.

Responsibilities
• Supports the hiring process in coordination with recruiters
• Ensures timely and accurate data entry into the applicant tracking system
• Coordinates interviews with applicants and managers
• Communicate directly with applicants for interview scheduling and pre-employment testing
• Coordinating travel arrangements for applicants
• Coordinates all pre-employment activities to include background and medical screenings
• Monitoring the onboarding for new hires.
• Assists with assigning job requisitions through the Internal Posting process (RISE)
• Responsible for all of the Workday transactions and tasks assigned to the RC role
• Recognizing and proposing solutions to improve the recruiting processes and workflows
• Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions
• Normal office environment.
• Hybrid – Work will be performed from both remote and onsite locations after the onboarding period. However, hybrid employees should live within a reasonable commute to the Duke Energy Plaza in uptown Charlotte.

Desired Qualifications
BS required!
• Prefer: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
• In addition to the desired degree, relevant recruiting or human resources experience
• Knowledge of relevant employment laws
• Experience managing multiple sources of data and information in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be very professional and be able to represent the client Corporation in a professional manner.
• Excellent oral, written communications and presentation skills.
 • Knowledge of client policies and practices.
