PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities 1) Design, develop, test, and maintain Web and Windows applications using C#, ASP.NET, and Silverlight. 2) Review and understand detailed business, functional, and technical requirements. 3) Work with appropriate departmental managers and members of leadership team to provide necessary research for business case and cost justification. 4) Take a lead role in developing detailed project estimates and work plans. 5) Take a lead role in the development of detailed technical specifications. 6) Accurately document and design code for existing and new applications. 7) Take a lead role in design and code reviews. Track and repair intermediate as well as some higher-level defects. 8) Provide production user support for intermediate as well as some higher-level issues. 9) Research, test, and apply new technologies in order to improve systems and processes. 10) Participate in ongoing training to enhance own job skills, knowledge, and professional growth. 11) Other duties may be assigned based on company needs. Experience · A minimum of five years of programming experience or proven ability to perform job requirements. · Working knowledge of ASP.NET, C#, and SQL Server. Knowledge of Silverlight, additional programming languages and technologies a plus.
