Graham Personnel Services is seeking a Bills of Material (BOM) Manager for a company located in Thomasville, NC


$25-28/hour direct hire opportunity!


Essential Functions:

  • Responsible for creating all new BOMs and SKUs, as well as maintaining existing BOMs and SKUs in the present and future iterations of Ennis-Flint’s ERP system;

  • Responsible for the accuracy of assigned BOM and SKU categories;

  • Proficient and accurate in BOM and SKU maintenance, inquiry screens and reports;

  • Effectively work with R&D to coordinate and expedite BOM and SKU approval processes with accuracy and complete alignment between Traverse and Product Vision;

  • Effectively work with Production, R&D and Product Management to ensure that the BOM has the correct structure, components and quantities in the BOM;

  • Effectively coordinate and execute BOM and SKU changes in a timely manner as needed;

  • Examine and audit BOMs and SKUs to ensure compliance to those bills;

  • Test new and changed procedures when necessary;

  • Proficiently set up and maintain various BOM and SKU flags and options;

  • Ensure consistency of data cross BOM and SKU setups;

  • Create and maintain data models for analysis and data verification;

  • Develop and cultivate positive business relationships with cross-functional peers;

  • Maintain flexibility and adapt strategies with changing internal and external needs;

  • Represent functional leader at internal meetings as required;

  • Manage program content and ensure proper standard work to facilitate clear and concise system updates;

  • Administer release communications as appropriate for internal timing needs;

  • Disseminate information to internal customers, suppliers and management with approval from functional leader as required.


  • High school diploma or GED, plus 4 years of administrative and/or supply chain experience;

  • 2-year degree and BOM experience, a plus;

  • Demonstrated proficiency with MS Office Suite, specifically Excel with demonstrated ability to create charts, pivot tables and formulas;

  • Ability to collaborate and model effective teamwork;

  • Ability to pay close attention to detail for accuracy and thoroughness in completing work;

  • Ability to keep privileged information confidential;
