Production Administrator
LOCATION: Hillsboro, OR
PAY: $25-27+/hr DOE
SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8am-4:30pm
Are you ready to take an active role in supporting and developing a production team? We're looking for a Production Administrator who is passionate about process improvement, team training, and ensuring data accuracy across key performance indicators (KPIs). This is a hands-on role at the heart of operations, supporting production excellence through organization, training, and compliance oversight.
Key Responsibilities

Promote a culture of safety by working safely and encouraging safe practices among associates.

Review and resolve Redzone data issues daily, contributing to daily KPI meetings.

Verify batch ticket entries and provide training when discrepancies are found.

Collect and document daily production KPIs and maintain detailed records.

Update OEE tracking and oversee packing shift KPI reporting.

Utilize ERP systems (SAP) to support data integrity and reporting.

Maintain and organize training records, conduct training sessions, and ensure Redzone compliance across all shifts.

Collaborate with Continuous Improvement to develop and refine SOPs and Work Instructions.

Address employee questions, resolve issues, and escalate when needed.

Evaluate employee competency and provide recommendations for role alignment.

Manage production document control and ensure the availability of updated materials.

Oversee the Kanban system for consumables and maintain office supplies and cleanliness.

Support management and leadership with production goals and new hire onboarding, including facility tours.
What You’ll Bring
-
4+ years’ experience in a production setting (food manufacturing preferred).
-
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; Spanish language skills a plus.

Ability to train and lead across shifts as needed.

Familiarity with GMPs, Food Safety regulations, and company compliance policies.

Excellent organization and time-management skills.

Experience with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, Six Sigma, or Kaizen is a plus.
Work Environment

Exposure to varying temperatures, machinery, and noise levels.

Regular standing, walking, reaching, and lifting (up to 50 lbs occasionally).

May involve occasional stooping, kneeling, or working in tight spaces.

Interaction with food products and allergens is common.
